Our CAMH services are committed to advancing equity of access, experience and outcome for all CYP in need of our services and have a range of robust service development initiatives/roles underway to achieve this. We are passionate about being a research-active service and are committed to anchoring service development to principles of collaboration and co-production. Working as a clinical psychologist in CAMHs will offer you a mix of opportunities for therapeutic work as well as drawing on your leadership skills. You will:

  • Support the MDT by offering consultation, supervision, in-house training and contributing to reflective practice/case discussions
  • Contribute to the development of service and therapeutic initiatives
  • Offer specialist assessment, formulation, intervention
  • Undertake care coordination responsibilities
  • Offer clinical supervision and host training placements for the DClinPsy
  • Contribute to teaching on the DClinPsy programme, patterns in line with our flexible working policy. For all substantive roles, new staff (excluding medical staff) are appointed subject to a 6-month probationary period (see Probation Policy). All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.
