Full Job Description

The team is multi-disciplinary and provides specialist assessments, treatment and interventions for young people suffering from moderate to severe complex emotional, behavioural and psychological issues resulting in mental health problems. In addition the team offers specialist neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments and a post-diagnostic service for children and young people diagnosed with ADHD.

North Yorkshire and York Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services are excited to offer this opportunity to work with the Northallerton CAMHS Team based at North Moor House. This post requires candidates to have a professional registration Child, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, well-motivated, forward-thinking clinician to work as part of our team - working with children and young people and their families living in the Northallerton area., Ideally the candidates will already be trained in a governed evidence based therapy such as CBT, DBT, or SFP, or be able to evidence specialist skills working with our client group. Experience of working clinically with children and young people with Mental Health and Neurodevelopmental needs is essential.

We have a strong ethos of learning and development. The successful candidate will be supported to develop their specialist skills and knowledge within CAMHS.
