Full Job Description

Come and join the Stockton CAMHs Getting More Help Team. We are a dynamic and motivated multi-disciplinary team that specialise in providing interventions and support for children and young people in the Stockton area.

You will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with experience in the delivery of high-quality planned care. You will be a valued member of the team and will develop excellent working relationships with our team and partners.

You can expect regular supervision and support from the collective leadership.

Nursing applicants should already hold NMC registration. Please note: Newly qualified Nurses or those due to qualify will be recruited via a separate process., As a member of the team you will provide assessment and treatment to children and young people who present with mental health issues, with an emphasis on formulation and psychologically informed brief interventions.

You must be willing to work collaboratively with children and young people as well as their carers and families .

You will need to have some experience of working with children, young people and families.

You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are required to have the ability and experience to manage complex cases in partnership with other agencies. In addition you will further develop skills in psychological assessments, psychosocial interventions and care management.

There is an expectation of commitment to the development of high quality care, and to engage in quality improvement activities. You will be supported with regular management and clinical supervision.
