Full Job Description
The Service Lead will be accountable for ensuring the effective management and delivery of Galaxy House Inpatient services and be responsible to and accountable to the Head of Crisis, Acute and Specialist Services the post holder will ensure the key functions of the role are undertaken through: effective management and leadership, collaborative working, supporting the delivery of performance targets, (including access and pathway targets), contracted activity levels, finance, quality standards and quality of services., Service Management
- Regularly review the CAMHS locality (inpatients) workforce to ensure it has the right numbers of the right level of knowledge skill and expertise to deliver services in the most effective way.
- Ensure good practice is rapidly shared within the inpatient service and wider service where appropriate.
- To effectively manage complaints in line with Trust policy.
- Ensure delivery of local KPI's and national targets and continually improve performance within the team to maintain standards of practice, demonstrating such to the CSU Structure through reports/data/audit
- Lead in the implementation of policies within Galaxy House Inpatient Service.
- Help develop and implement effective systems to record and monitor governance and risk information, providing reports to local practice governance and patient safety forums.
- Support the CAMHS CSU management at local locality level for the planning of inter-agency working with other key stakeholders.
- Attend Divisional/Trust meetings and external meetings as directed by CSU Hread of Crisis, Acute and Specialist Services and cascade relevant information into CSU.
- React to and put in place strategies to manage pressure in the service..
