CAMHS Learning Disabilities Nurse

Lambeth CAMHS are looking to recruit into a new post, a Learning Disability Nurse to our community CAMHS service to support our Neurodevelopmental Pathway.
+ Experienced and motivated RLDN RMN or RCN with experience of working with children and young people with Neuro diverse presentations including ASD, LD & ADHD.
+ The Post holder will be a care coordinator and provide therapeutic support for children, young people and their families of the Lambeth CAMHS Neuro-developmental Pathway, which is part of the River team (Tier 3 service)
+ The main team base is located at Mary Sheridan centre Wooden Spoon House SE11 & William Geoffrey house, 35 Black Prince Road, SE11 6JJ, + To provide care coordination & therapeutic support for CYP & families in Lambeth CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Pathway.
+ Clinical assessment, treatment, risk assessment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes for neuro-diverse children and young people across the tiers of intervention in CAMHS
+ Deliver groups to support the wellbeing of CYP and families referred to the service.
+ Opportunity to provide, support, training, consultation and advice for junior team members and/or other clinicians on issues of neurodiversity across the service.
+ To work in close contact with other clinicians in the NDP to further develop and enhance the clinical offer for CYP with neurodevelopmental conditions across Lambeth.
+ The post holder will sit in the Lambeth CAMHS Community Team (River Team tier 3).
