Full Job Description

The post holder will have duties related to the clinical delivery of care to children, young people and their families accessing the CAMHS team and calls for a professional with experience of working with children, young people and their families experiencing mental health and trauma difficulties. Part of the job plan will include participating in generic CAMHS work, including participating in the duty rota and undertaking initial assessments for the service.

The CAMHS team is a strong and supportive team and has excellent structures to offer regular supervision. You will be working alongside an established team at an important time in our development. It really is an exciting time to be joining us as we push forward with implementing new ways of working in order to best meet the needs of the population we work with.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Nurse / Mental Health Practitioner to be a part of a supportive and innovative child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) in Southampton.

We are looking for a Nurse or Allied Health Professional with post qualifying experience working in mental health. We particularly welcome applications from those that have experience of delivering DBT/ECS group and individual interventions or those willing to be trained in this. This is a great opportunity to join our team to support in the delivery of high-quality children's mental health services.
