Our CAMHS Core Team is a growing and developing service within Wakefield which aims to provide intervention to improve the lives of children and young people., Delivering psychoeducation sessions to children and young people through group work packaged.

Delivering support to parents and carers in group and 1:1 sessions

Supporting allocated workers with complex cases and offering additional visits to provide intervention.

Updating progress notes and supporting allocated workers with care plans and risk assessments.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursing Associate to join our friendly and supportive CAMHS team. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, having a commitment to improving service delivery and developing new ways of supporting intervention through engagement with children, young people, parents/carers.

We encourage applicants who have experience of working with children/young people with emotional and mental health needs.

We are a specialist NHS Foundation Trust that provides community, mental health and learning disability services for the people of Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. We also provide low and medium secure services and are the lead for the west Yorkshire secure provider collaborative.
