Full Job Description

You would hold a caseload of patients with varying levels of complexity, demonstrating awareness of how moderate to severe mental health difficulties affect children and young people. You would work with experienced clinicians and provide assessment and intervention to CYPs to promote mental health recovery. You would undertake risk assessments and risk management of individuals presenting with vulnerability, self-harm and/or physical, sexual or emotional harm to themselves or others. You would need to manage and respond to the distress of others and access additional support and advice when needed. You would work closely with other members of MDTs and liaise with partnership agencies supporting interventions that are evidence based and meet the needs of the young person. You would work with autonomy and initiative with the limits of your knowledge, experience and professional training, attending clinical and management supervision, and working collaborative as part of the MDT.
