Full Job Description

We are looking for exceptional individuals who are dedicated to working with children and young people and are keen to take up this opportunity to join us for a fixed-term 1 year post, including fully funded training in Systemic Family Practice (SFT) at the University of Exeter. The course starts January 2025 and will last 1 year.

  • For more details of the university training offer go to https://swcypiapt.com/courses/cyp-iapt-courses/systemic-family-practice/ This intensive training post will equip the post holder to provide interventions based on CYP-IAPT core principles and also evidence based interventions within the fields of SFT. The course is accredited by AFT, in order to meet accreditation level you will complete 60 hours of lead systemic practice over the course of the year.,
  • Working systemically with children and young people and their families experiencing mental health difficulties such as depression and self harm in specialist CAMHS.
  • Provide specialist CAMHS assessment and treatment interventions for children and young people as well as their families/ carer's
  • Provide specialist clinical assessment, formulation and treatment where the Voice of the Child is embedded within personalised care planning
  • Demonstrating a commitment to ensuring routine outcome measures are embedded within clinical practice to demonstrate clinical based improvements for children, young people and parents/carers.
  • What we can offer you: Live supervision in a group setting by a qualified systemic family psychotherapist. Once the fixed term contract ends applicants would be encouraged to apply for any vacant posts within the service. Our service is proud of its strong multi-disciplinary ethos within its clinical delivery and has robust clinical supervision, workload management and Continuing Professional Development structures in place.
