What we can offer you: Live supervision in a group setting by a qualified systemic family psychotherapist. The qualification, training & experience requirements for the role are underlined in the Job Description/Person Specification., + Working systemically with children and young people and their families experiencing mental health difficulties such as depression and self harm in specialist CAMHS. + Provide specialist CAMHS assessment and treatment interventions for children and young people (0-18yrs) as well as their families/carers who present with emotional and mental health difficulties as well as those children and young people who have learning disabilities. + Undertake clinical responsibility and be able to work independently in managing a clinical caseload. This will include collaboratively working and liaising with Trust and multi-agency partners across Gloucestershire as required. + Provide CAMHS specialist clinical risk assessments and risk management plans as part of routine clinical work ensuring that all aspects of clinical caseload work adheres to current Trust safeguarding as well as risk assessment and management best practice procedures. We are looking for exceptional individuals who are dedicated to working with children and young people and are keen to take up this opportunity to join us for a fixed-term 1 year post, including fully funded training in Systemic Family Practice (SFT) at the University of Exeter. The course starts January 2025 and will last 1 year.

The course is accredited by AFT, in order to meet accreditation level you will complete 60 hours of lead systemic practice over the course of the year. As these are post-graduate courses you will need to evidence your ability to study at post graduate level. Please also note, as this is an HEE funded course, those applying who have completed previous relevant HEE funded training courses (e.g. EMHPs) must be 2 years post completion.
