Full Job Description

The Maudsley Centre for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders (MCCAED) have been awarded dedicated funding to develop co-produced community engagement work to seek to redress barriers to accessing treatment by minoritised youth. This role is to lead the project, 'Building Bridges', for an initial 18 months., The post holder will work closely with stakeholders across local communities, expert parents and experts by experience to coproduce an approach to liaison that increases the accessibility of MCCAED to local young people and their families.

They will manage an assistant psychologist and support them to liaise with local schools to implement outreach work with young people, staff and parents.

The post holder will deliver this program with the assistant psychologist. They will work with design/animation agencies as appropriate to develop materials for outreach/engagement, dependent on outcomes of coproduction work.

The post holder will deliver the program to groups of young people in secondary schools in the SLaM boroughs
