Full Job Description

To support the provision of Health and Social Care to young people experiencing mental ill health in a range of settings within the context of a multi-disciplinary primary care service and support the delivery of evidence based mental health care to clients in resource centres and a range of community based premises. The post holder will on occasions be required to work without direct supervision. The post holder will be expected to assist with the organisation and facilitation of the medication monitoring clinics and therapeutic groups. This post will form part of a multidisciplinary team which consists of Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychology, Family Therapy, CAMHS specialist nurses and dedicated Administration support for the team.Main duties of the job To work within the Assessment Treatment Team within the CAMHS service. The post holder will liaise closely with other agencies and professionals and provide consultation when required. There will also be a need to provide teaching and training to others. The post-holder will be responsible for managing own time and will be required to plan range of complex activities; balancing client needs with other requirements of the post. The post-holder will have a thorough understanding of consent to treatment issues and will effectively demonstrate analysis which leads to clinical judgment in client notes.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
