Full Job Description

The post-holder will provide a specialist service including assessment, treatment, monitoring of outcomes and the provision of clinical supervision, consultation and training. The post holder will also contribute to service evaluation, research and policy development. There are many opportunities available within the service in relation to continued professional development., · To provide a specialist psychotherapeutic/ clinical intervention service to the MCCAED ARFID team including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes.
· To contribute to enabling other staff, service users and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe environment.
· To provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate, functioning as a specialist in ARFID in children and young people.
· To work as an autonomous professional within BPS, HCPC and other professional guidelines and codes of conduct, and guided by the policies and procedures of the service, taking responsibility for own work including treatment and discharge decisions with support of clinical supervisor., · Provide a specialist psychotherapeutic/clinical intervention service to the ARFID team, MCCAED, based at the Michael Rutter Centre, part of the National and Specialist Services based at the Michael Rutter Centre, supporting children and young people with eating disorders and their families.
· Contribute to enabling other staff, service users and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe environment.
· Provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate.
· Undertake service evaluation, audit and research.
· Work as an autonomous professional within BPS, HCPC and other professional guidelines and codes of conduct, and guided by the policies and procedures of the service, taking responsibility for own work including treatment and discharge decisions with support of clinical supervisor.

We are inviting applications from enthusiastic mental health professionals for a Band 7 post in our multi-disciplinary ARFID Team, part of our eating disorders service for children and young people.
