Purpose and context of role: The Campaign Delivery Manager sits within the FMCG Campaign & Media Management team. They will support the Senior Campaign Delivery Manager in overseeing the delivery of activations aligned to the Food Business Unit as well as our In Store Channel portfolio whilst also leading a team of 1-2 direct reports. The Campaign Delivery Manager will work with internal teams across Nectar360 & Sainsbury's as well as external stakeholders ranging from clients, creative agencies & media owners to deliver market leading activations. Positioned in the Nectar360 Campaign & Media Management team; they will be a key part of the management team helping to strategically deliver growth across our channel portfolio as well as developing teams to execute campaigns brilliantly.,

  • Manage 1-2 direct reports guiding them to deliver against specific objectives through coaching, training and personal development.
  • Supporting the Senior Manager with overseeing the execution of all activities aligned to the Food client group and being a point for escalation for virtual teams.
  • Supporting the Senior Manager in overseeing the In Store Channel portfolio, including landing innovations and identifying channel efficiencies & improvements, stakeholder management & leading projects.
  • Manage 1-2 key strategic clients, providing executional excellence when delivering campaigns in line with their objectives. Always looking for ways to improve campaign effectiveness e.g. improved artwork, targeting etc.
  • Supporting Senior Managers with team recruitment, resourcing and client alignment.
  • Building collaborative & 'big' relationships with media owners, Sainsbury's Group and Nectar360 teams, encouraging and facilitating cross-functional workstreams.
  • Leading on projects integral to the business such as the integration of new systems, process improvements, colleague development and wider strategic innovation.
  • Responsible for delivering Premium Activations as part of supplier planning.
  • Support the integration of any future new channels.

    Relevant university degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Significant experience in planning, negotiating, buying & delivering communication channels with a proven track record in negotiating & buying media from a commercial background e.g. account management.
  • Experience in delivering customer and store targeted communication channels.
  • People management experience.
  • Excellent project management, communication & presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels; both internally and externally.
  • Self-motivated & very well organised.
  • Proactive & high energy team player.
