Full Job Description

2 Year Fixed Term Contract

Magdalen College is seeking to recruit a highly motivated, creative and versatile Campaign Officer to join the Development Team. This new role comes at one of the most exciting times in the College’s history as we embark on two transformational building projects, including a landmark new quad for undergraduates and a café in the heart of the College.

Reporting to the Deputy Development Director & Head of Alumni Engagement, the Campaign Officer will play a central role in the success of this ambitious campaign, delivering a wide range of fundraising initiatives, including writing compelling fundraising copy for emails, direct mail and marketing materials, and contributing creatively to video content.

About you:

This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to advance a career in fundraising within the higher education sector while gaining hands-on experience in delivering a high-profile capital campaign. While a fundraising background is desirable, we welcome applicants with transferable marketing or communication skills.

The Campaign Officer must have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and strong communication abilities. They will need to be proactive, able to work independently and confident in collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of campaign activities.

You can get a taste of Magdalen life on our Instagram page.

Further particulars and application form are available by clicking the Apply button below, from our website or by calling the college.

Closing date: 12 noon on 25 November.

Interviews are currently scheduled to take place in person on: Wednesday 27th November and Thursday 28th November.
