Full Job Description
The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Campus Safety and Security Duty Officer to join our central campus safety and security team.
Overseeing a 54-acre site across 3 different campuses, this is an excellent role for someone who likes a role where no two days are the same.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in providing first class customer service
and works collaboratively. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing
vital campus wide support where they will be maintaining the physical safety and
security of our grounds and students, staff, and guests, through dealing with issues
ranging from anti-social behaviour to supporting the work of the emergency services.
Key responsibilities will include providing a compassionate and customer focussed
first point of contact service to our student and staff population, act as a first
responder to incidents on campus, undertake patrolling, fire assessments, address
anti-social behaviour and be an active member of the University community.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in providing high levels of
customer service, prior security or related experience, and handling conflict as well as good computer literacy and a full manual driving licence.
