Full Job Description
Cancer tracking for all tumour sites within oncology for specialised cancer services (Weston Park Hospital), to monitor and streamline patients' progress on the cancer pathways to ensure diagnostic procedures and treatments are planned to meet the patients' needs and the NHS England Waiting times .
Regular use of Infoflex to record activity and cancer waiting times and ensure patients are on the correct pathway and diagnostics/treatments are brought forward where possible to reduce patient delays.
Collect and input data to support validation and audits
Complete and submit breach reports for analysis
Act as a point of knowledge for the wider team
Work and communicate as a team to help patients
Do you have excellent administration skills, a good eye for detail and the tenacity to "go that extra mile? The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will provide expertise in the proactive administrative management from referral to treatment or discharge.
Working closely in a team of cancer trackers and the wider A&C teams to track patients through their cancer pathway ensuring accurate data collection, escalations and being part of a team to help improve and streamline cancer pathways within Weston Park Hospital. The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues and knowledge relating to patients cancer pathways, working alongside consultants and other disciplines of clinical staff and A&C staff/management.
