Full Job Description

This role will be responsible for delivering improvement capability at different levels across the organisation and support significant cross-organisational improvement projects that enable the organisation to improve safety, efficiency, effectiveness, staff and patient experience; with our people at the core of what we do. This will be supported by our world class digital infrastructure to deliver value for our people.

The post holder is responsible for leading the on-going management of the Improvement portfolio for the Trust, to ensure that the programme outcomes and objectives are delivered as planned. The post holder will be expected to engage key stakeholders in setting the direction and delivery of the Improvement programme portfolio's objectives.

The post holder will, in collaboration with GM Cancer alliance and the Head and Neck pathway board, support planning of our improvement priorities, execute the MFT improvement approach and method and support sites to strengthen their quality control to ensure we are building confidence and assurance for our people., MFT is one of the largest NHS Trust In England with a turnover of £2.6bn & is on a different scale than most other NHS Trusts.
