Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and self motivated person to join our team as Cancer Therapy Team Coordinator. This is a fixed term administrative role for 15 months and the hours are 18.50 worked across three days, excluding weekends. We are seeking a highly motivated Administrator who has excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, uses initiative and shows a willingness to learn. You will be joining a friendly and forward thinking team who aim to improve the lives of people who have Cancer. The successful applicant will need to be self motivated and proficient in using Microsoft programmes such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams. - Providing secretarial and administrative support to the Cancer Therapy Team and work closely with the wider personalised care services such as the Cancer Support Workers.
- Having contact with patients, some of whom may be distressed, and booking in appointments for them to see the team.
- Managing the team email inbox, ensuring relevant documentation is uploaded to the Trusts electronic patient record, and supporting the standard operating procedure for managing the record. You will be taking minutes for specific meetings.
- Supporting the team with any therapeutic groups ran and managing the administrative aspect of the group.
- Contributing and managing data collection being captured.
