Canine Hydrotherapist

We are seeking a skilled Canine Hydrotherapist to join our team in providing hydrotherapy treatments for small animals in our custom built hydrotherapy pool. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to deliver effective hydrotherapy sessions.

Responsibilities
- Conduct hydrotherapy sessions for small animals including dogs and cats.
- Monitor and record the progress of each canine patient during hydrotherapy. Candidates must be able to create personalised treatment plans depending on the needs of the patient.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of dogs throughout the treatment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the centre as well as adhering to all necessary health and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans and progress as well as communicating effectively with other veterianry professionals as part of a multi discipliary team.

-Candidates must be able to produce valid vet reports and owner reports for all patients.

Essential: Qualification in Canine Hydrotherapy (Minimum of Level 3)
- Essential: Experience working with dogs in a professional capacity
- Strong understanding of canine anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication skills with pet owners and colleagues as well as veterianry professionals
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care and compassion

-Willingness to help out with other areas of the centre (to be discussed on interview).
