Full Job Description

The Capital Appeal Manager will be responsible for leading an exciting and ambitious project to raise £2m of voluntary donations towards a refurbishment of St Piers College in Lingfield, Surrey. The College supports young adults with complex needs and learning disabilities, set in attractive grounds on a 125-year-old rural estate in Surrey. Built in the 1990s, the College needs updating and improving, to bring the facilities up to a standard to match their recent Outstanding Ofsted rating. The refurbishment, planned to be complete by September 2026, will be key to improving experiences and outcomes for young people and to create more capacity for the growing cohort of over 100 students., and research, we have developed and published our 2020-2025 strategy. This focuses our work around 3 key offers: health and research, voice and support and St Piers special education. Within these key offers we aim to:

  • Coordinate research that improves diagnosis and treatments, and deliver cutting-edge health services
  • Campaign for children's rights, supporting them in school and college and providing innovation tools, information, and practical help for living day-to-day life
  • Provide an innovative and creative environment for children and young people with epilepsy, autism, and severe learning difficulties.

    Experience of successfully managing capital funding appeals with a proven track record of securing significant funds from HNW Individuals and grant making organisations.

    Salary: £32,432 -£34,054 per annum based on 30 hours per week./ (40-42k per annum FTE). AYR/TTO: All year round, fixed term contract - 2 years Young Epilepsy and St. Piers is committed to safeguarding and protecting our children and young people and promotes the welfare of all learners.
