  • Strategic Advisory: Provide expert financial advice on the Council's Capital Programme.

  • Capital Strategy Development: Craft and evaluate strategies that drive financial success.

  • Budget Oversight: Keep a keen eye on budget monitoring and financial planning.

  • Financial Modelling: Develop robust financial models that support informed decision-making.

  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to business processes and financial regulations.

  • Any-Desk:

    As an 'any-desk' worker, you'll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements.

    We are looking for a candidate with a wealth of experience in finance, a deep understanding of finance systems and legislation, and a track record of exceptional leadership. Your ICT skills are top-notch, and your ability to innovate is matched only by your commitment to excellence. A CCAB qualification and a degree-level education or equivalent are essential., As well as providing high quality services to other areas of the Council, you could also be helping us build on the revenue which comes from our external clients.
