Full Job Description
We are looking for a Capital and Life Cycle Project Director to join our Building Services at Derby. The Project Director, Capital and Lifecycle Works (Healthcare) will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of capital and lifecycle works across five healthcare projects. This includes planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects within scope, on time, and within budget. The Project Director will lead a team of Project Managers to ensure high standards of service delivery, contract compliance and customer satisfaction while adhering to the unique requirements of healthcare environments. What we are looking for:
- Lead and manage multiple capital and lifecycle teams delivering projects in healthcare settings from inception to completion across all five healthcare projects
- Ensure compliance with all PFI contract and regulatory requirements specific to healthcare environments.
- Ensure processes are in place to enable effective financial management
- Develop comprehensive reporting, including project plans, schedules, and budgets tailored to healthcare facility needs.
- Act as the primary contact for healthcare clients to understand their needs, ensure their expectations are met and maximise opportunities for Skanska What you'll bring to the role:
- Capital and Lifecycle projects are delivered successfully to agreed timelines with minimal delays
- Forecasts for each project and for healthcare are delivered whilst maximising revenue and margin opportunities
- Capital and Lifecycle projects are delivered ensuring compliance with the PFI contract, regulatory approvals and compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects in hospitals or other healthcare facilities.
