This is a key role that will be supporting CCS and Water Treatment South in the delivery of our AMP7 and AMP8 projects. This role will be accountable for providing key operational design and installation decisions - relating to plant OPEX, REOC, design, layout, access, lifting and maintenance that arise during both the feasibility and design phase of projects. The individual will be required to liaise and consult with key stakeholders within Water Treatment & CCS to facilitate access to process plant and strategic assets as required to ensure efficient delivery of the capital projects to an agreed programme. There is also a requirement to support operations in key activity on the ground. Sound like you? Then read on. Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:
- To provide operational experience and knowledge to support the delivery of the capital program.
- To deliver input into the design process to ensure that asset operation, maintenance and TOTEX are delivered consistently across the capital programme.
- Support the CCS design teams to develop efficient (TOTEX) solutions that are practicable and effective on the ground.
- Assist the CCS teams to implement and deliver efficient projects / programmes of capital works
- To engage and collaborate with Water Treatment South Team Managers / Senior Technicians to ensure the consistent and timely resolution of any design, maintenance, or operational challenges.
- To support the development and approval of RAMS / R&C plans to access key process units or strategic assets impacted by the capital programme.
- Regular engagement with the operational teams on delivery of the capital programme including, progress updates, escalation items, key risks, benefits and OPEX impact. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE The post holder will have a strong background in the maintenance and/or operational requirements of water assets as well as experience in water treatment processes. Project management skills, a practical working knowledge of project delivery and an ability to produce technical documents is also a must. A good understanding of Health and Safety is paramount and the ability to challenge constructively will be a big part of this role. A full UK driving license will be required for the role.
