This role requires the candidate to act as a first point of contact for queries and complaints in relation to the car parking service and permit management, both for Trust staff and its patients & visitors.

Responsible for the monitoring of the car parking service equipment, its performance and reporting of faults or damages to the Car Parking Management Team.

Issues enforcement notices and warnings where appropriate and in line with service policies and standards.

Directs drivers of vehicles to appropriate parking areas if and when required and provides information to visitors, students, staff and patients.

Monitors and/or patrols site to ensure traffic remains flowing.

We require proactive and hardworking staff to work as part of a team within the Car Parking Department to provide a fair, efficient and effective car parking and traffic management service to the Trust.

This is a challenging and demanding post - the successful candidate must be confident, approachable and able to work under pressure whilst remaining polite and courteous at all times. You need to be customer focused and be able to communicate with staff, patients and visitors at all levels.

Applicants must be physically fit and able to spend significantly long periods of time on foot / walking around the hospital campus.
