Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology care group for an Admin Team Leader to join our Cardiothoracic Radiology Admin Team. The post holder will provide comprehensive management cover as the Team Leader. This is a very busy role and we are therefore looking for someone enthusiastic and excited to take on a new challenge. Previously knowledge of Radiology bookings would be an advantage. The hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Radiology are please to provide admin staff with a uniform and lots of exciting learning opportunities., What you'll do:

  • To work with colleagues to ensure the provision of a quality administration service to all patients, staff and visitors.
  • To Manage the Cardiothoracic Radiology admin Team.
  • Support Cardiothoracic Radiologist with administration tasks.
  • To book CT and MRI patient appointments.
  • To undertake office procedures utilising the Radiology Management system (CRIS) and Patient Administration systems (eCamis/eDocs/eQuest).
  • To maintain the quality of information provided to patients and staff.
  • To courteously and efficiently receive all internal and external telephone enquiries with patients, relatives, various hospital departments (internal and external), GP's and other healthcare professionals, in relation to hospital admission, appointments, consultations and general enquiries, ensuring that adequate records of relevant conversations are kept, and appropriate action is taken., Equality remains at the centre of our policymaking, service delivery, and employment practice, giving all employees equal opportunity to develop, apply for promotions, and have working arrangements that enable them to achieve a manageable work-life balance.
