Full Job Description

Our Cardiac Catheter Lab team are seekinga motivated and enthusiastic Cath Lab Staff Nurse with a commitment to deliver high standard of patient care.

The department operates from Monday-Friday 0800 to 1800. Shift patternsinclude 0800-1800 and 1000-2000. You will be required to work 4 times a week to complete 37.5 hours.

You will be given an opportunity to rotate into the pre-assessment area, cardiac day ward and cardiac catheter lab theatre.

We have 1 dedicated Cath lab providing various minimal invasive and non-invasive procedures to both elective and inpatients such as Coronary angiography +/- Angioplasty, implantation of cardiac devices and Direct Current Cardioversion.

The post holder is expected to pro-actively participate in the planning, assessing, implementation and evaluation of patient care from admission to discharge., To provide high quality care to patients undergoing a procedure in the cardiac catheter lab
