The focus of the role will be to assist the Cardiac Physiology team providing administration support and being the first point of contact for both telephone and direct patient enquiries., An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cardiac Clinic Co-ordinator to join the Cardiac Physiology Team based in our brand new offices at the University Hospital of Wales.

The Cardiac Physiology Department is a vibrant and busy department providing tertiary services to South Wales.

The focus of the role will be to assist the Cardiac Physiology team providing administration support and being the first point of contact for both telephone and direct patient enquiries.

You will need to have an understanding of administrative and clerical work, strong organisational skills including an eye for detail and proficient experience of using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The successful candidate will need excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate with tact and diplomacy, whilst providing a professional service. The ability to prioritise your workload, process enquiries in a confidential and timely manner and to work effectively in a busy environment with a fast-paced work turnaround is essential for this role.
