Full Job Description

As a band 5 cardiac physiologist you will perform a full range of cardiology investigations: -
Ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring.
Holter analysis.
Exercise Tolerance Testing (medical and physiologist supervised)
Tilt table testing
Physiologist support in Coronary angiography/angioplasty including joining the on-call team
Have an interest in cardiac devices and involvement in the ILR service
Training will be offered and supported.
Assist in the training of junior members of staff.

In the absence of a senior member of staff ensure that any incidents, accidents, complaints or other undue occurrences are dealt with in accordance with current policy.
Assist in the general maintenance of all diagnostic equipment.
To be aware of stock management and the responsibility to report low stock levels.
