Cardiac Physiologist, ECHO

1. To be competent to document patient data for investigations undertaken within the department, ensuring that all data is accurate and processed in a timely manner and produced in the appropriate report format
2. To ensure the highest levels of concentration and accuracy to complete tasks and interpret results
3.Undertake further training as required for both professional development and service provision and be actively involved in clinical governance of service and service development.
4. To undertake any other duties, in accordance with the grade and nature of the post, as required by the Service Manager.

As band 6 echocardiographer you would be joining a busy and dynamic echo team at UHCW and at our CDC sites. Ideally with post graduate experience in echocardiography you would be required to be part of the team to contribute to the service delivery for the echo department within the department of cardiac investigations. Contribute to the utilisation of resources, specifically in area of responsibility, and commit to continual professional development. Work co-operatively with other professions and disciplines to encourage and develop a multidisciplinary approach to cardiac care., 1. Qualified Cardiac Physiologist, with post graduate experience working within echcardiography.
2. Experienced working independently and as part of a team
3. Have a passion to specialize in all ECHO procedures and techniques.
4. To be studying towards or have completed full/part BSE accreditation, with the intent to be fully BSE accredited, scanning and reporting independently.
5. To ensure diagnostic tests are performed in accordance with protocols, and data and diagnostic reports containing a range of complex facts and measurements are accurate and produced in a timely manner.
