We are excited to announce that Cardiology Ward has an exciting opportunity to join a specialist unit and help advance your own personal progression. Cardiology Ward / ACCU is a 41 bedded unit made up of 6 ACCU bed, 6 HDU beds, 13 side rooms and 3 bays. We care for all aspects of cardiac medicine including; Intervention, Electrophysiology, Structural and Adult Congenital.
We are looking for experienced staff nurses who are passionate about working in a supportive learning environment and who are keen to progress to a band 6 role with some structured support to achieve this.,
- Registered Nurse (Part 1. 8. 12 or 15 of register depending on area of practice) or National certification in area of Practice.
- Previous Cardiac experience.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development Desirable criteria
- Previous band 6 experience.
- Proof of education at level 7 Clinical PracticeEssential criteria
- Articulate & Knowledgeable of skills needed to deliver high standard of care
- Demonstrates awareness of importance of teamwork, Excellent communication skills
- Acts as a role model and able to lead by example
- Able to uperwise Non registered and less experienced staff Desirable criteria
