Full Job Description

This is a fast paced demanding but rewarding role. If you are looking for a challenge and want to feel you are making a real difference, we want to hear from you. You will be working with a team of highly qualified professionals, from Cardiologists, physiologists and Nurses along side the rest of the admin team . You will need to be organised, be able to prioritise and work to strict booking time frames and deadlines. You will contribute to the income of the department by ensuring all clinics are fully utilised and cashed up . Producing and reporting test results and ensure they are disseminated to the correct consultant. This position is a hybrid role which includes 2 days a week to cover the Cardiology Reception., The job is varied and will allow you to use your initiative . You will ensure all clinics are filled by booking onto the Tomcat and Pas booking systems. Take calls from patients and liaise with them regarding their bookings. A degree of compassion must be demonstrated when communicating with our Cardiology patients. Moving and cancelling patients and clinics at short notice will be part of this role. Supporting other team members during holiday time. 2 days of the role will be based in the Cardiology Reception area. Here you will meet and greet our patients with a professional, welcoming manner. Help to rebook appointments answer queries and cash up clinics.
