Care Assistant

Hours: Flexible, 16 hours per week alternating weeks Tuesday and Friday week 1 and Wednesday and Friday week 2 with possible overtime when required, We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Personal Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to help others and provide high-quality care to our client in their home. This role involves assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the comfort and safety of our client.,

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises


• Help with PEG feeding, meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Help with use of BiPAP Ventilator


• Provide medication reminders when required


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment


• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
  
  Previous experience as a personal care assistant, caregiver, or similar role preferred


• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus but not required


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including transferring clients via hoist


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently


• Valid driver's license with no driving convictions


• A compassionate and patient demeanor


• English Speaking, Care assistant: 1 year (preferred)
