Full Job Description

  • Assist residents with daily personal care, including dressing, bathing, and hygiene.
  • Support residents with mobility issues and physical disabilities, using and caring for disability aids.
  • Organize and participate in social activities to promote residents' well-being; accompany them on community visits.
  • Prepare and serve meals, assist with eating and drinking, and clear up after meals.
  • Perform light domestic duties such as making beds, tidying rooms, and cleaning.
  • Handle residents' laundry, including collecting, washing, ironing, and returning clothes.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to senior staff.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Regulations.

  • Experience in care work
  • ideally a Level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • Care Certificate completed
