Full Job Description
- Assist residents with daily personal care, including dressing, bathing, and hygiene.
- Support residents with mobility issues and physical disabilities, using and caring for disability aids.
- Organize and participate in social activities to promote residents' well-being; accompany them on community visits.
- Prepare and serve meals, assist with eating and drinking, and clear up after meals.
- Perform light domestic duties such as making beds, tidying rooms, and cleaning.
- Handle residents' laundry, including collecting, washing, ironing, and returning clothes.
- Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to senior staff.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Regulations. Am I the right person for this Care Assistant job?
- Experience in care work
- ideally a Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Care Certificate completed
