Howbury House is 32 bed residential home for people who need care and support and are living with dementia. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. We are increasing our staffing levels on a permanent basis and have various jobs available. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring people to join our team to enhance the lives of our residents. The successful applicants must have the ability to listen and communicate orally and in writing. The ability to work as part of a team but also be able to work on own initiative, be caring, compassionate and motivated. An understanding of the rights and needs of older people and the ability to treat people with dignity and respect and as individuals. We are an established team of dedicated staff and are very proud of the work we do and are looking for caring people to share our commitment to provide the best care for our residents and share our passion and vision for the service we provide. Do you want to make a difference to the lives of people who live at Howbury? Care Assistants - Hours: Ranging from 19.25 to 21.5 hours per week. The shift pattern consists of 07.30-15:30, 15:30-22:00, 08:00-21:00 and some shorter shifts of 08:00-13:00, 17:00-21:00 these are mainly for the lesser hour posts. All vacancies include alternate weekends and bank holiday working.
