Full Job Description

We are an established care company currently expanding our company within Tiverton, Devon.

Duties will include:

Managing the carers rota
Accepting, allocating and processing new care referrals
Writing person centred Care plans
Organising the senior care team to complete monitoring calls
Liaising with clients, their families, social services, and other partners to ensure safe, caring, person centred care is delivered at all times
Ensuring carers are supported in a friendly and organised environment
Assisting the manager with recruitment
Taking part in the out of hours on-call rota
Ensuring accidents and incidents are recorded, reported, and resolved
Carrying out general office duties
Working flexibly as part of the team to ensuring all policies and procedures are followed
The right candidate will have the following qualities

Work experience within Domiciliary Care industry.
Experience as a care coordinator preferred but not essential. Senior carers looking for their next challenge will be considered.
Excellent writing skills
Able to use initiative and suggest new ideas and changes
Hands on approach to work
Ability to work well under pressure
Calm and friendly personality
Excellent organisational skills
Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Completed or willing to work towards a Level 3 Health and Social diploma
Must have a driving license and access to a car., Do you have or are working towards a minimum Level 3 in Health and Social Care?

You must live within reasonable travelling distance of Tiverton. Do you live within commutable travelling distance from Tiverton?

Experience:

providing domiciliary care or care home: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence and access to a car (required)

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience
