Full Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Giver to join our team in Bradford-on-Avon, United Kingdom. As a Care Giver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
  • Keep accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

    Compassionate and kind-hearted nature with a genuine passion for supporting others
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor
  • Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily activities
  • Patience and emotional resilience to handle challenging situations
  • Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided)
  • Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate records
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a care setting, personal experience caring for a family member, or voluntary caregiving experience is beneficial but not required

  • We pay between £13.00 to £28.00 a hour.
  • Paid Travel and Waiting time between client visits
  • Paid mileage, with payments matched to current fuel prices.
  • Paid on-boarding training and ongoing training including CPR and Dementia training. Free qualifications such as The Care Certificate, NVQ diplomas.
