Full Job Description

You will be required to work individually and as part of a team to create various opportunities for individuals that would impact positively on their lives.

Benefits include 28 days Annual Leave, pension schemes, staff discounts, training and career progression.Your hours of work will be 38 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, including oncall support and flexible to meet the needs of people we support.

Registered Manager will be responsible for the overall day to day management and running of two services, with a capacity of nine beds (Four residential & Five supported living) in accordance with CQC standards and Company policies and procedures, with the end purpose of creating a safe, positive and happy environment for all residents. There is an opportunity to study a Level 5 in Care Leadership & Management - General Adult Social Care Diploma.

The position requires knowledge, including supervisory experience from working in Adult Social Care. You will need to have a professional approach with the ability to organise and prioritise, and a good knowledge of relevant codes of practice and legislation.

Leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build lasting relationships with staff, residents, families and external organisations or partners, being patient, reliable and flexible are key characteristics of a successful Manager.

Duties include
To support individuals/groups within their home and community reach their full potential
Providing line management support to a team of staff.
To provide a person centred, responsive, and high-quality service to people we support.
Identify needs and outcomes for each individual we support.
Deliver services that meet or exceed our legal and organisational standards.

Prior experience of managing in a care setting and Good knowledge & understanding of Residential and Supported Living.
Effective communication with stakeholders, commissioners, and users alike.
NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care - or willing to work towards it is essential. We will fund this qualification.
