Full Job Description

As a Care and Separation Unit Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
  • support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received
  • promote safe patient care
  • develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

    Registered Nurse
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills and IT literacy
  • Ability to work within a busy environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
  • Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.,
  • Enhanced Clinical Practitioner L6 or L7
  • Advanced Clinical Practitioner L7 (includes NMP)
  • In this role, I can really enhance my leadership skills- both clinical and non-clinical- as well as my managerial skills, I can engage with other clinicians to lead by example, and inspire and motivate other clinicians. I'm thriving in this role and am really enjoying it.

    The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns Monday to Sunday- 4 out of 7 days a week, This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £36,200 per annum FTE - depending on experience. How will we support you?
