  • As a Care Supervisor at Right at Home Reigate and Crawley, you will be crucial in ensuring seamless communication between the care team, management, and our valued clients. You must be personable, as you will collaborate with the entire team to meet all client needs. This fast-paced role requires dedication and the ability to remain positive and professional under pressure.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support caregivers in their daily roles by monitoring, supervising, and mentoring care givers.

  • Assist with onboarding new caregivers, introducing them to clients and helping them settle into their roles.

  • Update client care plans, risk assessments, and daily routines based on new information.

  • Maintain ongoing service user compliance by conducting care plan and risk assessment reviews.

  • Ensure outstanding compliance across the business and support achieving a minimum of "Good" in CQC inspections

  • Monitor and assess client satisfaction.

  • Respond and record client and next of kin queries.

  • Deliver care calls as required during emergencies or gaps in the rota

  • Participate in the on-call telephone support service for caregivers outside office hours

  • Continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service delivery

  • Act on your initiative and exercise decision-making skills where appropriate

  • Contribute to the growth and development of the business, achieving targets and delivering within budgets.

  • Build relationships with clients and their families to ensure outstanding personalised care is provided at all times

  • Meet the training needs of all staff effectively, assist with induction programmes, and identify and provide ongoing training needs

  • Deliver parts of the induction training and assess the competency of care assistants completing the Care Certificate


  • We cover Reigate, Redhill, Horley, Oxted, Godstone, Crawley, and the surrounding areas; thus, local area knowledge is highly desirable.

  • A valid driving licence and access to a reliable car is essential.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience within a health and social care environment is essential.

  • Previous experience as a senior care assistant or supervisor is desirable.

  • Experience using digital care records.

  • Relevant qualification, such as Health and Social Care NVQ or Care Certificate

  • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Office and computer systems knowledge

  • Self-motivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an on-call system for out-of-office hours

  • Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritising abilities

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships within the community and office

  • Strong administrative skills and ability to manage multiple workloads
