Full Job Description

The successful applicant will be required to lead the Team and support the management structure within the service. A team leader will have additional duties such as supervisions and will have allocated office time every other week to carry out these tasks.

We provide support to over 100 individuals through engaging activities that allow them to express themselves. Our programs cover arts, sports, and wellbeing, helping to develop their communication skills and learn new skills like cooking and using public transport, all contributing to a healthier lifestyle and enriched life experience., Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
Personal care and hygiene.
Medication and wellbeing.
Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
Supporting Management with running of the service
Supervising, mentoring and leading the team
Contributing to the continued development of the service
Supporting with recruitment and induction of new team members

Previous experience as a support worker or team leader in a similar setting.
Have Right to work in the UK
A Full UK driving license is desirable
Flexible with shifts as working times include weekends and evenings until 7pm
Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments / learning difficulties is desirable.
Passionate about enhancing other people's lives.

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, but job share will be considered.

We are offering £25,370 per annum (£13.01 per hour) with enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews.

The Day Service is open Monday - Friday 8:00am - 7:00pm, Saturday - Sunday - 9:00am - 15:00pm., 32 days of annual leave including Bank Holidays pro rata
