Full Job Description
We are recruiting a minimum of 3 full-time Care Workers to provide care and support to people living in the Lower Wortley, Farnley, Low Moor Side and Bramley (LS12 / LS13) areas which includes:
- Farnley
- Silver Royd Hill
- Low Moor Side
- New Farnley
- Upper Moor Side
- Lower Wortley
- New Blackpool
- Far Royds
- Bramley
- Bradley Hill

Patience, empathy, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are all essential qualities for this role. As a Care Worker working in Lower Wortley, Farnley, Low Moor Side and Bramley, you will:
- Provide personal care that protects people's dignity.
- Promote independence using enabling approaches.
- Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.
- Connect people to their communities accessing local support and services.
- Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control.
- Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time. Induction Training As a Care Worker for Be Caring, you will be provided with comprehensive induction training on:
- Be Caring values and going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes.
- Dignity and respect, safeguarding and equality and diversity
- Confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Fluids and nutrition and safe administration of medication.
- Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sores (React to Red)
- Infection prevention and control, health and safety.
- Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health and capacity.
Pay: £12.50 p/hr (drivers) - travel time included - Shift Pay rather than pay per call; allowing you to go Above & Beyond when supporting clients to achieve outcomes, maintain independence and build community connections.
- Mileage: 45p per mile
- Bonus schemes: up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus. £25 birthday gift voucher., As a Care Worker for Be Caring, your working hours will be aligned to our shift patterns, which for this role include late shift working and alternate weekends.
- Early Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm
- Late shift: 3:00pm - 10:00pm (finish time depends on public transport times) As a Care Worker for Be Caring, we will agree your working pattern, setting 2-week rota which includes:
- Alternate full weekends.
- Evenings as agreed within your working hours. Benefits
