Grade: SO2 (Actual Salary £30,866 to £32,473)

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days

Accountable to: A member of the Senior Leadership Team

Role:

To create and disseminate a careers education strategy including advice and guidance offers for all students at Leeds West Academy. This role will involve regular contact with local Further Education (FE), Higher Education (HE) and 6th Form providers and other stakeholders in the immediate and wider area of Leeds. Central to the role will be working towards Leeds West Academy achieving all 8 Gatsby Benchmarks of good practice which are referred to in "The Careers Strategy: making the most of everyone's skills and talents (DfE 2017).

We're securing our 2025 vision for 'World Class' by growing our family of exceptional education professionals; dedicated specialists and passionate leaders with the shared goal of transforming future prospects for the next generation of West Yorkshire.

We provide exceptional life training; harnessing the skills and fortifying the aspirations of young people, who we know will transform the region and provide a positive, progressive contribution to society.
