Full Job Description

The Career Development Centre (CDC) is looking for an organised and enthusiastic Career Development Centre Officer to provide essential support to our day-to-day operations. The role is critical in ensuring the smooth running of the centre, focusing on event coordination, talent development and career sector administration support for our students. The successful candidate will also lead several initiatives and apply detailed knowledge of systems and procedures to contribute to the efficiency of our centre.,

  • Organise mock interviews for students with industry advisors.
  • Oversee electronic resources for the careers team, including budget tracking, contract renewals and user access management.
  • Monitor and process psychometric assessments, manage student debriefs and support leadership coaches via Microsoft Teams.
  • Support event coordination for on-campus and UK-based events, liaising closely with the events coordinator., You will possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal abilities with a focus on client service, and a high level of numeracy. The role requires an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach, who is also highly organised and detail-oriented. Experience in updating websites as well as data collection and analysis is also required.
