Careers Adviser

Salary: SFCA Support Staff Pay Scale points 11 to 13 (£26,097 p.a. to £27,747 p.a.). This equates to £22,718 p.a. to £24,154 p.a. for term time working. This is an exciting opportunity to join a College that is highly regarded for the quality of its CEIAG provision, currently holding the Quality in Careers Standard (QICS). As Careers Adviser, you will help drive the CEIAG provision in the college, and help students explore their career options and access a range of post-18 pathways including higher education and technical vocational pathways. You will work with students 1-1 and in groups, providing high quality careers advice and guidance to help raise aspirations of students and support them to reach their chosen destination. As well as providing careers guidance, the role will also include CV writing, helping students apply for jobs and apprenticeships, supporting with interview preparation and sourcing financial support for HE progression. The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), term-time only.
