Full Job Description

Would you like the opportunity to work as part of a team of highly experienced and ambitious colleagues?

We wish to appoint an experienced individual to support the delivery of Careers Information, Advice and Guidance to students aged between 11 and 18. You will need to be an excellent communicator, with a suitable careers qualification and experience of working with secondary students.

Working as part of a small Careers Team, you will have a particular focus on delivering individual IAG, and will support the team in promoting Careers education in the wider school setting, including to other school staff, and to parents and carers as required.

This is a face-to-face role, based on the Graveney School site in Tooting. Ideally, hours will be worked daily between 10.30am and 2.00pm (10 - 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year) but there is scope for some negotiation on both hours and days worked. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills and be competent in using ICT.

Graveney is an extremely popular and successful 11-18 School situated in Tooting, SW17 on a pleasant site with excellent facilities. We have a commitment to providing the best opportunities to all students and to developing the professional skills and career opportunities of staff.
