Full Job Description

This new role is part of our Exams Officer Communications Team. The role is crucial to ensuring our new systems and services for exams officers are easy to use, promote a positive customer experience and are supported by clear guidance and communications at launch., You will manage a portfolio of exams officer communications and guidance for new systems and services via a range of channels making sure exams officers worldwide have a positive experience with Cambridge and can competently administer our qualifications. As part of the team, you will work to understand the implications for exams officers of different projects working to influence decision making and to represent the voice of the exams officer fully throughout project working groups. Working with the Exams Officer team, and other stakeholders, you will understand the needs of our different school models, and regional requirements, making sure they are considered as part of any project from the early stages. Working to understand the interdependencies between projects and the impact on exams officers of multiple project launches, you will focus on the customer experience ensuring that it is consistent and positive, and that any new system or service meets the needs of our exams officers and schools. You will develop the communications plan for the launch of new systems and services for exams officers, writing complex communications and guidance and securing review and sign off from multiple stakeholders. Working with our Training Manager - Exams Officers, you will support the development and launch of appropriate and supportive training for exams officers. You will support the Senior Communications Manager - Exams Officers with reactive and crisis communications as needed.

You are an experienced communications expert and have worked in a similar sized organisation before, ideally with knowledge of the global education market. You are confident communicating using a variety of channels and you're comfortable with complexity. You have experience managing multiple stakeholders, especially at senior level, you enjoy working with others and can positively influence decision making. Ideally you can show experience of working with complex material and have a clear and proven ability to translate this info clear and straightforward communications across multiple channels.
