Full Job Description

The Enterprise Digital Architect will provide architectural design leadership and lead implementation strategies for customer facing shared capabilities, primarily through digital channels. The role involves designing robust, scalable digital architectures that align with the organization's strategic goals, focusing on customer-facing technology solutions. As the enterprise level design lead, the position plays a key role in transforming the enterprise digital landscape, driving innovation, and helping the organization meet its digital aspirations. This role initially acts as Lead Architect for a multi-year digital commerce programme.

  • Develop and maintain the target enterprise digital architecture aligning with business goals.
  • Lead the design of complex digital architectures, including cloud solutions, data platforms, and integration frameworks.
  • Create and manage a technology roadmap guiding the evolution of digital capabilities and systems.
  • Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated digital solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.
  • Identify and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements and provide architectural guidance.

    Experience in leading the architecture, design and implementation of digital architectures in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Understanding of data governance, data architecture, and analytics.
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, API management, and microservices.
  • Knowledge of security architecture and practices.
  • Proficiency in enterprise and solution architecture modelling tools and techniques (e.g. Orbus Infinity, Icepanel).
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred
