Full Job Description
Cambridge holds a licence with the Home Office, enabling us to sponsor and recruit employees who require a skilled worker visa. As a Level 1 user of the Home Office's Sponsorship Management System (SMS), you will support employee processes, records, and applications using this platform. You will also develop internal process improvements to ensure we meet our UKVI obligations to the highest standards.,
- Creating and Supporting Records: Maintain internal and Home Office (SMS) records for all employees joining Cambridge through the UKVI route, ensuring accurate information management throughout their lifecycle.
- Managing Right to Work Processes: Support the management of Right to Work processes, including visa expiry dates, renewals, employee onboarding, and record-keeping requirements under our UKVI sponsorship licence.
- Providing Advice and Guidance: Offer advice and guidance to managers and employees on UKVI and sponsorship matters, working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other internal stakeholders.
- Leading or Supporting Projects: Lead or support project work that contributes to the policy and processes of the UKVI operating and governance framework, ensuring compliance and auditability in delivering UKVI and Right to Work related services.
We are looking for an individual with experience in compliance or regulated environments, where high standards of governance and risk management are essential. You should have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, especially when working with people systems and third-party platforms. As a confident communicator, you will thrive in building collaborative relationships and supporting others through coaching and guidance to enhance employee self-service. Your ability to lead or contribute to project work, with a focus on our administrative and record-keeping processes, is crucial. You will bring experience in process improvement activities, ensuring that outputs are implemented effectively. - 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
