Careers Leader

This key role will lead on the management and delivery of careers and work-related learning activities. Duties will include:
Planning and delivering career information, advice and guidance to students in all year groups, including those with EHCPs
Producing an annual career guidance development plan to monitor the delivery of career guidance across the Gatsby Benchmarks
Organising events and activities such as apprenticeship week, encounters with employers, work experience, mock interviews.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of work related learning and careers education, have experience of providing advice and guidance to young people and be highly organised and able to meet deadlines.
You should have a Level 4 Diploma in Career Information and Advice or equivalent qualification and be willing to gain the Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Advice, if not already held. Actual salary is £11,830 to £12,652 per annum.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
